Your files stay yours.

1. Who is responsible

Photo PDF Tools is provided by the developer identified on the App’s Google Play listing (“we”, “us”, or “our”). For privacy questions, please use the developer contact details shown on that listing.

2. Photos, PDFs, and metadata

The App lets you select, edit, convert, compress, merge, split, and save files. These operations are performed locally on your device. We do not upload, receive, inspect, or store the contents of your photos or PDF files on our servers.

If you enable a feature that preserves metadata, the App may read or retain metadata embedded in a photo, such as capture date, camera information, or location. This information remains part of the file you choose to save or share.

3. Analytics

The App uses Firebase Analytics to understand aggregated app usage, including app launches, first opens, device type, app version, and basic technical information. Firebase may process app instance identifiers, approximate location derived from network information, and diagnostics. Analytics does not receive the contents of your photos or PDFs.

Analytics is used to measure reliability and improve the App. More information is available in Firebase Privacy and Security.

4. Advertising

The App uses Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform to provide rewarded ads. Google and its advertising partners may process device and account identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, diagnostics, app interactions, and ad interactions for ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention.

Where required, the App presents a consent message and lets you manage your advertising choices. More information is available in Google’s Privacy Policy.

5. Purchases

Optional PRO purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card number or other payment credentials. Google Play may process purchase and account information under its own terms and privacy policy.

6. Permissions and local storage

The App requests only the access needed to select, process, save, and share files, and to show processing notifications where applicable. App preferences and temporary processing state may be stored locally on your device. We do not operate an account system for the App.

You can remove locally stored App data through Android settings or by uninstalling the App. Files saved or shared by you are managed by you and may need to be deleted separately from the device or destination you selected.

7. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your files or personal information. We share information only as needed for the third-party services described above—Google Mobile Ads, Firebase Analytics, and Google Play—or when required to comply with law, protect rights and safety, prevent abuse, or enforce applicable terms.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own and apply their own privacy terms.

8. Retention and deletion

We do not retain copies of your photos or PDFs. Analytics and advertising data are retained by Google according to the applicable service settings, terms, and retention controls. You may request information or deletion relating to data controlled by us by contacting the developer through the Google Play listing; requests may be limited where retention is required by law or necessary for security.

9. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact the developer so appropriate action can be taken.

10. Security

Files are processed locally where the App’s functionality permits, and communications with our service providers use encrypted transport. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, its services, or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after an update means the updated policy applies to future use.
